What Happens in Spring

Spring Fling [sprĭng flĭng] n. A casual try or involvement held in springtime.
Not sure our Spring Fling held up to it's definition (here, fling = retreat).  This particular fling already appears to have longer lasting effects on everyone involved.  From conversations with students about how the gospel affects their lives as individuals and in their relationships to quality hang time in the lazy river at the resort, God is answering prayers in revealing His direction and affection to us.

My favorite memory was chilling with three other girls in our room before hitting the sack.  Nothing deep was shared beyond how one of the girls lips look like cherries, yet I feel like I grew much closer to them through that time of banter and laughter.  It's informal times like this that add up to form a lasting bond - a relationship.

On Spring Flings in past years, we've had about 5 girls in attendance.  This year we were 18!!  Numbers aren't everything, but these numbers are quality - evidence of God moving among the female community on our campus.
