The cool thing about solid rocket boosters is after they fall off the shuttle and drop by parachute into the ocean, they are taken back, restored, and used again. Better than any restorer - even NASA - is Jesus. He has been loving me incredibly and gently bringing me to belief. Through reminding me of who He is and the things He has done, He is increasing my faith.
Friday morning I have the chance to share a devotional at our staff retreat. This idea of being full of faith in our Father to be faithful in what He has called us to would be very appropriate for our whole team to ponder. With Puerto Rico Project around the corner, overwhelmingess running high, and some feelings of failure at the surface, I can think of nothing better than to look at Jesus. He is all-sufficient in our insufficiency. He is strong in our weakness. He is God and He is good.
Haha, you and the rocket-boosters! Great illustration. Love you!!
ReplyDeleteI love this journey Jesus is leading you on, Astronaut Woman. :0) Interestingly enough, His strength in our weakness has been the theme for me lately too, and also what I shared with ECS school staff on Friday morning. He IS good!
